The Savior Survival Gear brand story begins with two young boys that met on a US naval base in Nea Makri, Greece. They quickly became best friends and soon learned that they had similar backgrounds and were born in the same hospital about a month apart over 5,000 miles away. After their fathers were transferred, they lost touch for over 5 years. Despite being separated for several years, their paths crossed once again in Jacksonville, Florida. Their mothers happened to notice each other’s names in the church bulletin and arranged a meeting. They instantly reconnected over their shared love of skateboarding and the outdoors.
But it was more than just a shared hobby that brought them together. Both of their fathers had served in the US Navy, instilling in them a strong sense of service and commitment to others. These values would go on to shape the foundation of the company they would later create together.
Years passed, and the bond between the two friends only grew stronger. They decided to turn their passion for the outdoors into something more, something that would allow them to give back. And so, they started a company, dedicated to creating high-quality outdoor products while also supporting humanitarian charities and organizations.
Their brand is rooted in a shared history and a common purpose. It’s about more than just selling products; it’s about making a difference in the world and giving back to those in need. It’s about friendship, perseverance, and the unbreakable bond between two childhood friends united by a shared vision.
